So why get togged up and wander the parks of Brum, when you can simply follow the snowcock search feed on twitter. Thanks to world for making #snowcockhunt more comfy.
the story of the hunt
An original member of the #snowcockhunt team has given up hunting and turned her talents instead to #snowcock building. It’s a close call, where do Karen’s skills lie???
So as soon as the next snow arrives, folk are twittering about snowcockhunting again. Still the real prize remains elusive…
#snowcockhunt
So, school and uni both closed and we’re stir crazy, off we went to Cannon Hill Park for some wonderful fresh winter air and sledging. Imagine my surprise when slap bang in the middle of CHP was a massive snow model of a penis. Well, not planning on discussing men’s genitalia with my dort on this occasion, I skirted round the subject, made some dismissive noises about teenagers and headed off to take some snaps of mac being rebuilt.
So, when later it grabbed some attention as a passing comment on Twitter, I set off with other hardy folk, some twitterers and some not, to find said snow model.
But what a fun tweet up. 10pm at the Edgbaston Road gates. Me, @citizensheep, @benjaminbrum and notmrs@podnosh set off on our trail.
The photos tell our story (back to front), up until my battery ran out - used up on sledging video!
Just as my batteries went, we were joined by @karenstrunks, @ianhlhm and their friend (sorry, in the excitement I didn’t catch her name)
